Four… On Thursday, 22 February 2024, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force commenced investigations into a shooting that resulted in the deaths of Edley Augustin of Martin Luther King Street, Vieux Fort, and Quinzy Mathurin of Cedar Heights, Vieux Fort. Four other individuals were injured in the shooting but survived. This incident took place on George Shine Drive, Vieux Fort. On Tuesday, 21 May 2024, thirty-eight-year-old (38) Jessie St. Cyr, also known as "Dollar," from Bruceville, Vieux Fort, was arrested and subsequently charged by the Major Crimes Unit for causing the deaths of Edley Augustin and Quinzy Mathurin. He was also charged with the attempted murders of the surviving victims.
