2 Corinthians 1:3-4 – "All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us."
I find that God brings me comfort at all the right times. But especially, I find whenever I'm in need, I turn to exactly what the scripture says. In my time of praise to Him, in any time of distress, I just have to turn to Him in praise. Within moments, His comfort so freely comes upon me. I find that, in those times, He never fails.
By spending our time in praise of Him, it takes us to a place where we can comfort those around us by showing the image of Christ in our day. I find as I grow in my practice, I spend more time than ever seeking the chance to pray with the people that come to me for help. The effect it has on my day is immeasurable.
Today, don't miss the opportunities to minister to those around you. Just as Christ ministers to you.
