It was full of his own ideas of how things should be, so he went his own way. Eventually God had no choice but to deal with him. A heart full of "self ideas" opens the door for things in the spirit that are not good. If we won't get it right with God a price will be paid. We read this in 1 Kings 22:22, "The LORD said to him, 'How?' And he said, 'I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' Then He said, 'You are to entice him and also prevail. Go and do so.'" Because Ahab refused to honor what God was doing, a demonic influence came to guide his decisions. The same thing happened to King Saul. The point is clear. If your thinking does not align with God, it will align with that which is against Him, and that will not end well for you! Today's Word: If you want to fulfill your calling and destiny, you must stay aligned with what God is doing. If not, other voices will come to be an influence over your life. | | | |
