L'expérience VxRail sur OpenShift et Azure Stack HCI ! C'est l'une des promesses d'APEX Cloud Platform. La version Azure Stack HCI est officiellement commercialisée depuis cette semaine. La déclinaison OpenShift doit suivre en octobre. Une mouture VMware est dans les cartons, pour une disponibilité à l'horizon 2024.
L'infrastructure Dell, des logiciels et des piles d'exploitation dans le cloud
Il s'agit de la première offre de la gamme Dell APEX Cloud Platform et de la première solution disponible de la catégorie Premier Solution for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI. L'idée ? Proposer une gamme de systèmes clés en main entièrement intégrés incorporant l'infrastructure Dell, des logiciels et des piles d'exploitation dans le cloud. Ces plateformes proposent des opérations multicloud cohérentes en étendant les modèles d'exploitation dans le cloud aux environnements sur site et en périphérie.
La possibilité d'étendre les services cloud Azure aux environnements sur site n'est pas négligeable. Selon une étude ESG sur les tendances en matière de déploiement d'applications multicloud, 48 % des clients interrogés privilégient les déploiements sur site. Les charges de travail peuvent être réparties en fonction des performances souhaitées, des coûts et des exigences de sécurité, avec une mobilité des données sur une couche de stockage multi-cloud commune. Il est donc ainsi possible de déplacer les données en toute transparence entre les environnements sur site et les déploiements Dell APEX Block Storage for Public Cloud.
Dell APEX Cloud Platform, déploiement accéléré
Dell met en avant la simplification de la gestion. Cette nouvelle offre permet d'assurer la cohérence des opérations Azure sur site ou dans le cloud public grâce à l'intégration native d'Azure Arc. L'intégration approfondie et l'automatisation poussée permises par le logiciel de base Dell APEX Cloud Platform donnent aux clients de nouveaux avantages. À titre d'exemple, l'assistant de déploiement automatisé réduit de 88 % le nombre d'étapes de déploiement par rapport aux systèmes intégrés existants, générant ainsi un gain de temps considérable lors du déploiement de la plateforme.
Le livrable des applications s'en trouve accéléré. Grâce à la fourniture optimisée d'AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) et de services d'applications et de données compatibles avec Arc, la plateforme permet d'accélérer la mise à disposition des applications. Les clients pourront bénéficier d'une gestion simplifiée grâce à une intégration poussée et à des outils courants. Les utilisateurs peuvent également appliquer des politiques de sécurité et de conformité cohérentes à l'ensemble du paysage Azure grâce à l'intégration avec les services de gestion et de gouvernance centralisés d'Azure.
