When emotions run high,
it is always about you
When emotions run high
It is always about you.
We can cry and be angry
How others are being treated,
It is always about you.

Being an empath, the emotions
Run high because of your internal settings
And it is always about you.
How much we can sense and feel
It is always about you.
You may wanna fight for someone else,
Yet it is always about you.
Then what happens when you are being told,
It is not about you.
How many times do you take things personally,
And it is not about you.
Emotions that arise during circumstances out of your control,
When it is not about you.
There is a fine line we need to consider,
That it is not about you when it is not about you.
Every time you are feeling for, or emphasize with,
It is not about you.
You need to learn how to know when it is not about you,
Because of the life lessons of the other,
It is not about you.
All you can take responsibility for is how you react
And deal with your own emotions.
These emotions are your tools to remember
It is not about you.
Every human being is creating their own reality,
And it is not about you.
So what can you do, when it is not about you?
When all you want is to help out and assist,
And it is not about you.
Dealing with your own emotions that are rising,
That is about you.
When you meet up with your own expectations,
Your own anger or sorrow, your love, and compassion,
That is about you.
If you want to change anything when it is not about you,
You will immediately learn it is part of your own life.
That needs to be addressed in order to balance again,
And to know it is not about you.
Love, honor, and respect the free will of every person
And the choices they make, knowing it is not about you.
Love, honor, and respect all you are creating
With compassion and kindness,
For that is about you.
Only through the eyes of Love and Compassion,
You will connect with the core that is about You.
Love and Light will create a safe space,
To hold any and anyone,
That isn't about You.
