Podcasts are another type of media that are currently growing in popularity in a time when practically any type is technically feasible. The best thing about podcasts is that they cover a wide variety of subjects, including pop culture, politics, and world history, and in additions, I've in love with darker podcasts such as true crime, horror tales, etc. There is nothing better than listening to a gripping podcast about a crime during nighttime.
Lights Out

I've been listening to the Lights Out podcast on Google Podcast for the past few months, and not only are the stories really frightening and occasionally horrifying, but they're also really intriguing and you can tell that a significant amount of research goes into each podcast. The host has the most peaceful voice when reading these stories, which is something I truly appreciate. Sadly, there were few commentary of the host interspersed with the narrative and there was too much commercial.
Casefile True Crime

This genre of true crime is that it isn't exploitative. It is interesting, well-researched, and well-written. The host and the team treat these delicate subjects and incidents with attention and compassion for the victims. Casefile will always be the best resource if you want to fully understand a case. They can fully engross you in the story and have the most knowledge about the situation.
I absolutely enjoy how the host explains the story of the case without interjecting his opinions and presents it objectively. The host approaches the subjects sensitively and consistently.
In other words, these are the podcasts that have so far captured my attention.
