Thus, England qualified for the semi-final of the T 20 World Cup 2022 in Group 1. New Zealand was already qualified for the semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Group 1. Australia was out of the T 20 World Cup 2022. Sri Lanka was placed in the fourth position with 4 points after losing this match as per the points tables.
