The 42-year-old, Rishi Saunak has become the first Indian-origin prime minister of the United Kingdom. Rishi Sunak, the former finance minister of United Kingdom, has just replaced UK's Liz Truss after her resignation over the latest political crisis.

Who is Rishi Saunak?

Born: 12^th May 1980

Rishi was born in the UK's Southampton area to an Indian family. His grandparents were belongs to Punjab. His grandparents and his family had migrated in search of a better life in East Africa and shifted to Britain.

Rishi Saunak graduated from Oxford University and Stanford. At the Stanford University he met to Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy's daughter Akshata Murty and the couple tied the knot in 2009 has two daughters, Anoushka and Krishna.

Political Journey:

First time, Rishi Sunak elected a Member of Parliament (MP) in 2015 from Richmond, Yorkshire. He swiftly rose through the ranks of the Conservative party and supported calls for 'Brexit'.
