I'm back.... well sort of after all of our huge events of the year with a little reprieve before we begin again. That's right part 2 of the remodel will start next week but should be a lot easier than that.
I've been bumping into walls, exhausted and trying to clean up and regroup and little by little I'm digging out. I don't know about you but when after a huge push is when I notice that anxiety can kick in and I just have to ride the wave and watch it ebb and flow. The body and mind are trying to catch up saying "I can finally register what was going on that you weren't listening to".
The end result was incredible and I'm beyond delighted but it will take me a bit till I'm back to full throttle.
I haven't done a video for awhile with any workouts with my Move It Monday classes and this is just a talk and a bit of Tai Qui because well this is where you start when you have been out of sync for awhile.
I've been trying to get on the internet all morning but couldn't starting at 2 a.m. and I thought there was a snafu in the new bedroom but it turns out as I was headed to P.T. at 7:00 a.m. a tree was down. Saved by the tree I thought. It reminded me of "the dog ate my homework" and I have no idea if they will really believe me. There was no storm but I did notice that the wire was awfully close on the tree the other day and just ignored that message. Oops. II may not be able to reply till the WiFi comes back, hoping this goes through!
I let all of my clients know I wasn't going to see them today because of the tree but they are all bound and determined to get here and help cut branches. Even my 91 year old is coming. That's one way to get a work out in.
In short, when you have gone through a big push, remember to Begin Again and here is the recipe:
Give yourself the time you need to decompress and take a break
Get back to your practice whether that be meditation, movement, music, etc
Set realistic Goals for yourself
Acknowledge the small steps you make and fan your accomplishments
When life gives you the unexpected, go with it ! It's a message for you to regroup and take it slow. Don't fight what can't be changed and go with the flow. Take life as it comes each and every day Be blessed for the gifts that come your way.
Alrighty, that was short and sweet... the video is a little long but I gotta run.
