As of today, I own 2882 books (1 more than I owned last week).
With that number of books, I must sort them in categories in order to locate them easier. As of now, I have these books sorted into 37 categories.
Today I continue posting my "Top 10" lists of my favorite books in some of those categories. There are likely books that I need to add to my shelves; so, when you see my list, make suggestions for what else I should buy and read.
If a book doesn't make my list, I might own it and simply have not read it yet.
So...here is a list of my Top 10 books on the church (or "ecclesiology") on my shelf.
- Lectures to My Students by Charles Spurgeon
- The Reformed Pastor by Richard Baxter
- The Christian Ministry by Charles Bridges
- The Trellis and the Vine (and The Vine Project) by Colin Marshall and Tony Payne
- The Mentoring Church by Phil Newton
- The Deliberate Church: Building Your Ministry on the Gospel by Mark Dever and Paul Alexander
- The Compelling Community: Where God's Power Makes a Church Attractive by Mark Dever and Jamie Dunlop
- Crisis of Caring by Jerry Bridges
- The Pastor's Book: A Comprehensive and Practical Guide to Pastoral Ministry by R. Kent Hughes
- The Body Dynamic by John MacArthur
What books are missing from this list?
