One who has only known violence may want peace. Growing up in a chaotic environment creates grounds for hardened criminals such as serial killers. Check their histiories, they had the worst upbringings and they ended up becoming murderous people, for example, Ed Gein, the Leather Face. Growing up in a chaotic environment also creates bullies that terrorize the people around them. They make up for narcissists and worse.
