This morning was the first of many outdoor runs since I stopped running years ago. This is a huge milestone since I just about gave up running after dealing with running-related injuries off and on throughout the years. What made all the difference was connecting with a running buddy at the gym who happens to be training for his triathlons. Thank you Guy! Great job hitting the crazy button and agreeing to train together. It's gonna be a blast training throughout the winter and into next season.

I work best with a training partner(s) in the swim, bike and run. I credit my swim buddies for giving me a solid swimming foundation. Thank you Jeanne and Scott for the many years of swimming together. I am a better, stronger, confident swimmer as a result. While I wait for my future swim partner to show up, I'm going to make the most of my swim practice now by pacing myself against the clock, enjoying the feeling of being in the water, and in my flow.

Practical tips for running or cycling at the crack of down. Be visible. By that I mean, wear reflective gear and/or lights. Run and/or cycle with a buddy if you can. Dress for the weather because you never know the wind and rain can creep up on you. Most of all, go out and enjoy being out IRL.

Muchas gracias. To you who remind me to dream big. To you who help me grow into the best version of myself. To my future training partner, it's gonna be epic!
