The Rational Policy Podcast - LIVEA recording of our wide-ranging live podcast from Saturday night’s X Spaces.
Welcome back (kind of?) to the Rational Policy Podcast! In this special LIVE installment, hosted on Twitter/X Spaces, your hosts Mike Coté and Art Vandelay break bread on a number of topics from the absurd to the serious. This free-flowing conversation (eventually) focused on the situation in Ukraine and how American policy toward that country’s war against Russian aggression has changed for the worse. We discussed why supporting Ukraine is in our national interest, how the sanctions waivers adopted by the Trump team are bad for us and Kyiv, and why Russia is actually an enemy of the United States, despite the protestations of very dumb people on the internet. Be warned, this is a far more informal discussion than even our usual attempts - but that makes it all the more fun. We’ll surely be doing more of these in the future, so be sure to follow us on Twitter/X (Mike/Art) for any updates and to listen (and participate!) live. Rational Policy is free today. But if you enjoyed this post, you can tell Rational Policy that their writing is valuable by pledging a future subscription. You won't be charged unless they enable payments.
