I once again had the pleasure of joining my friends Pete Turner and Dr. Amber Brittain-Hale on the always-great Break It Down Show to talk everything foreign policy. We started off with a wide-ranging discussion of recent developments in Latin America, including the dictatorial cancellation of elections by Nicaragua’s leftist autocrat Daniel Ortega, the strong US position against the ideological threat of the Cuban regime, and the future of anti-left or anti-communist politics in the region. We then extolled the many successes of Secretary of State Marco Rubio and how his presence in the second Trump administration has made him the most important American diplomat in ages. Finally, we shifted to the Iran War, discussing whether the return to combat is a good strategy and how we may move forward from here.
