Well things have improved considerably. That night was pretty jarring, it’s not expected at all in a regular routine that you’re going to have someone hit your car with their car, for absolutely no reason besides their own carelessness and not paying attention, rudely pulling out onto a busy street and then doubling down and backing the fuck into me. Then trying to minimize and acting like there is no damage so everything is fine, when I just bought this car, we put $8,000 of our hard earned savings into buying this fucking car. It’s practically new! Anyway, most of my emotional state came from that, the fact that this is my brand new car, I felt bad because it’s also Seth’s money and everything being impacted. Now we have to list the car as being in an accident if we ever want to sell it. It just sucks. I haven’t gotten into an accident in over a decade, thankfully, but I certainly hate the fact that my last accident over a decade ago was here in NY and now I have another accident on my list, here in NY.
