Algorithm, a step-by-step procedure for solving a problem or accomplishing some end.
The Holy Spirit spoke the word algorithm to me today. This term originally referred to solving computer issues but can be applied to all kinds of problems.
We all live with burdens. Some are orchestrated by God. Many happen because we have made mistakes in the past. And, Satan is at work to steal, kill and destroy.
The solution is turning to Jesus. When my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the rock that is higher than I!
How does Jesus apply algorithms to solving a burden in your life?
God is holy. If you have darkness in your life the response from Jesus for help will probably be lukewarm. You have to be right with God. Pray the blood of Christ over your life and ask Jesus to convict you of any darkness standing in the way of your relationship with Him.
Forgiveness is very important in dealing with the burdens of life. Ask God to forgive you for anything you might have done to contribute to this burden. You also might have to seek forgiveness for your feelings and actions reacting to this burden.
This biblical principle in Psalm 55:22 is alive and powerful in dealing with a burden. This will work for any believer. Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you. He will never permit the righteous to be shaken. This literally means giving the burden to God and letting go emotionally. You will feel immediate peace and freedom knowing this is now in God's hands.
Pray for the wisdom of God in dealing with your burden. Listen carefully for the voice of God. Rest in Him.
Have unyielding faith in Jesus. He delivers His people.
Ask God to send angels to protect you.
Seek the counsel and prayers of spiritually mature believers.
Wait on God with faith and patience. Do not strive looking for a solution. It is not by might nor by power but by My Spirit.
Read the Word of God. Here are two excerpts from the Bible exhibiting the power of God at work to rescue His people.
Escape from prison
Then the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him and they were filled with indignation, and laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison. But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, "Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life."
Saved from the fiery furnace
"Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
Praise God with your words and sing to the Lord. Jesus covets the praises of His people.
Jesus keeps His promises. Nothing is impossible for Him!
