Thank You for springtime flowers and gentle rain,
For rustling tree "whispers" and hope again.
Lord, You delight in gifting us
With the wonderful things You have made.
These pleasures You have given.
An alert, inspired brain
The smiles of a loved one
A dear hug from my child
Quiet when day's done
The night, peaceful and mild
The gift of Your presence
List'ning to my call
The times that we talk
And Your joy that fills these walls.
Beautiful things,
Oh, thank you for beautiful things.
They make life worth living.
