A software update glitch on Friday triggered a global computer meltdown at airports, government agencies, banks, hospitals, and more. This is a far cry from my preference to be vulnerable. Especially when it comes to public related operations, safety, minimizing risk, and reliability are the top priorities.
Take the rising cases of Covid-19 summer wave. Crowds in indoor spaces such as airport, shopping mall, grocery store, gym are prime contagions for the virus to spreada. President Biden was tested Covid positive this week while attending events in Las Vegas.
[Update - President Biden just announced that he is dropping out of the presidential race.]
We can be open and vulnerable while still take proper precautions and be prepared at the same time. It's a creative tension represented best by the paradigm of challenge equals growth. Just look at the former president Trump. His rating rose after survived the assassination attempt, adding credence to the rally cry, the revolution continues.
In case you wonder where I get my blogging ideas each day, one practice I use is the idea garden. I find it useful in collecting and developing topics that are interesting to me. And some of them eventually end up in my blog.
Stay safe & Have a nice week.
