When my friend first showed me a video of Harry Mack, I was hooked. This guy used to walk down the boardwalk on Venice Beach, asking people to give him three words, which he would then use to create a rap song on the spot. Call it a hobby, a side gig, or something he did just for fun, but when COVID hit, it all came crumbling down. At that point, he had a choice. He could do what most people would do and call it quits being realistic about not being able to make money with his hobby. But he didn't do that. Instead, he followed his dream. You see, Harry has an OPUS, and it drives him—and when you have a clear aim, you can see opportunities where others see noise. In Harry's case, his opportunity went viral, even as a wicked virus shut down everything and everyone.
Harry stumbled upon Omegle, a website that connects random people with the click of a button. He kept doing his thing, asking people for three words so he could create his melody line as fans on the other end couldn't stop smiling.
After watching a ton of his videos, I wanted more. That's what an OPUS does. It attracts people to come in a little closer. I love connecting with people who have an OPUS, so I wanted to see how close I could get and if I could figure out a way to align his with mine.
At that time, three groups I was connected with came to mind: my kids, the job seekers I was helping during COVID, and a team of 10 that showed up at my house every Sunday night, masks and all, for BTL practice.
If you want to see an example of someone who has truly mastered their domain, search for him on YouTube and watch the reactions of people he connects with. It won't be hard to find him because he now has close to 3 million followers and almost all of his videos have gone viral.
If this kind of talent isn't your thing, that's cool too, just sit back and listen to this one tune because he made it special—just for me and Y.O.U.

Here's the one he did for my kids, the Job-Seekers, and my all time favorite : )
