I'm delighted to share my poem with you today, Invisible Footprints, published on MasticadoresUsa, thanks to Barbara Leonhard and team. As a matter of fact, I'm sitting in the bathtub as I type with the memories and feelings of when I wrote this poem.
Water is so healing. If you can get to the waters edge do, but if like me, you're feeling a little punk today, a bath or even a shower will bring those memories back to life. I have my sea salts, eucalyptus, angel cards, vitamin C and of course Ollie to nurse me back to health from this bug I got again.
Make sure you listen to the messages your body is giving you, whether it's slowing down, boosting your immune system or clearing your energetic field. Feeling tired and lethargic is one of the first signs you are getting sick so make sure to pay attention to what you are putting into your body and load it with nutrient dense foods and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
What doesn't get processed emotionally can also wreak havoc on your physical body and if you aren't really conscious of the triggers that create this by staying conscious of your feelings that arise, you can also create emotional discomfort. Eckhart Tolle who introduced this concept of pain bodies gives a wonderful explanation of it in his book The New Earth and what you can do so it doesn't take over creating havoc in your body, mind and psyche. He also wrote The Power of Now which is an amazing book as well.
So, now you know why I've been incognito and off my usual schedule while I mend and do both the physical work and mental work to create more conscious awareness and housekeeping bringing more light in so I can heal. Life is a continuous process of examination, letting go and re-creating.
I hope you enjoy my poem!
The waves kiss the shoreline,
washing away footsteps in the sand,
leaving only memories and love to begin anew each moment.
They carry our burdens out to sea to transform and renew.
Please read the rest of my poem here and show them some love there as well if you are can access their site. For those of you who already have, thank you, it didn't go unnoticed.
