Literally, when I was in college, I was home for the summer and felt sort of a rumble--it honestly reminded me of, like, someone slamming a door really hard in the basement. I didn't think much of it until my Facebook feed stared filling with people in the area, from the same town to different counties altogether, asking if anyone else heard or felt something. Turns out it was an earthquake, which for Pennsylvania is really rare. If I recall correctly, it was entered around D.C. and we sort of got the edges of it. I remember there being lots of jokes afterwards about how much damage it did paired with pictures of, like, toppled lawn chairs.
- What's so far away? The beach.
- What is it too late for? Given that I went to a Def Leppard concert last night, love.
- When did you recently long to be home again and feeling right? I'll elaborate when I'm ready, but I spent two nights in the ER in early June for the same issue--got sent home the first night and was told to come back if things got worse, and they did. Even though the second night wasn't as long, I was very ready to go home, sleep in my own bed, and have some time to myself and with my husband and kid.
- Which five beautiful things did you see this week? My son, my cats, a concert, flowers, my niece and nephew.
