Parents, school systems, and lawmakers throughout the U.S. continue the back and forth on how best to regulate cellphone use during the school day.
More states continue to explore policies regarding cellphone use in schools across the United States. A recent Ed Week article discusses varying approaches among states, including outright bans, partial restrictions, and leaving policies to individual school districts. According to a recent Baltimore Sun article Baltimore County has launched a new pilot program to help limit cellphone use during the school day and other jurisdictions are looking at additional strategies.
