How incredible is it that WE get to intercede on behalf of others!
We need one another!
There are times when we are each weak and what a blessing that we are not alone.
Romans 15:1 "Now we who are strong out to bear the weaknesses of those without strength."
We need to get a greater revelation of the authority that WE ALREADY HAVE!
Matt. 28:18 "ALL authority has been given to ME in heaven and on earth.
Luke 10:19 "Behold, I HAVE GIVEN YOU authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over ALL THE POWER of the enemy and NOTHING shall injure you."
Just like the Lord brings PEACE to influence us when He's speaking to us, the enemy brings FEAR when he's tempting us to choose the wrong thing.
The devil loves it when we turn in on ourselves and believe the wrong things about God or about people who love us.
He knows if he can separate us from the herd a lone sheep is an easy target.
This is where we can spend time praying for one another.
We cannot control anyone, just like God won't control anyone.
It baffles me why some people don't understand why bad things happen in this world.
Because God will not violate our FREE WILL.
But even though we can't legally pray for someone to do something against their will, we can AND should, intercede and bind that spirit that is trying to control their mind.
We can pray that the Lord would soften their heart, just like He advised Moses to do with Pharaoh.
We can pray that the blinders of deception fall from their eyes and that they experience a true encounter with the presence of God that will forever change them!
We can pray out God's perfect plan that He already has waiting for them and pray that He sends the right people onto their path to bring about a harvest in their lives! (Eph. 2:10 & Matt. 9:38)
We can pray for their PEACE and PROTECTION and PROVISION of all their needs.
And if they already know Jesus but currently seem far from Him, we can pray that He gives them a spirit of WISDOM and REVELATION in the KNOWLEDGE of HIM and that the eyes of their heart are ENLIGHTENED so they may KNOW what is the HOPE OF HIS CALLING! AMEN! (Ephesians 1:17,18)
NEVER give up on anyone! NEVER assume God must be done with them! STAND IN THE GAP! You can do YOUR part to use YOUR authority over the enemy who is harassing their mind and PRAY that they will know the TRUTH and the TRUTH WILL SET THEM FREE! ~Be Blessed, Jenny xoxo
