January 6th, should not be forgotten, swept under the carpet, or forgiven with pardons. It was a horrible day, for Congress and Pence, even the VP, was put on the fence.
The courage of some, overcame the fear of many, running through the capital, like they had lost their last penny. The destruction of property, is sad to this day, tearing down the structure, that represented our ways.
3 1/2 years, it has sat in the dust, collecting clutter, waiting for a bust. Now the rulings, have touched the Supreme Court, in July we shall see, if there's a call to abort.
I believe in justice, and the rule of law, I would hate to see lenience, for a penalty so tall. The statue of freedom, is on top of the capital, a gift by France, let's hope it doesn't get toppled.
