Whistling sound of the tree branches swayed in winds foretold the arrival of the precipitations. I waited with bated breath. And when the raindrops did hit the window panes, it was music to my ears. The heat baked in the ground finally got a bit of cooling off. Thanks to the rain. Albeit, it only lasted for about an hour. Still, I much prefer temperatures in the 80s than the 90s. By the way, the heatwave bulldozed us right through the summer solstice last week. Is this a sign of extreme weathers and a pattern for us to get used to?
