My life continues without my late dad. It is strange not seeing him nor reminding him this or that.
Happy pills in the form of memes to lighten my mood is the name of the game. Although I would not mind chocolate nuggets or gummy bears in shapes of Snoopy or Garfield serve as my happy pill.
To many cases of cannabis in food is rampant in Thailand and my friends have gotten an "illegal" taste of it, without realising it. Scary when shops sell it like candy or edible eats in Thailand.
I would stick to my carrots, green veges or taters. Though I must admit that the carrot shown above seems happy to give a "high five" - anazing work of art by nature or "photo shop"?
We all grow old daily. I realise this when food labels get really teeny tiny and my friends taught me to take a photo and magnify it to read.
In clearing out my late dad's stuff, my sister came across a magnifying glass and passed it to me. My dad was smart. In his generation of elderly, he knew how to resort to getting a magnifying glass till he owned a smart phone.
Life goes on. Life moves on as it does not wait for anyone.
Neighbor is getting rid of her helper from Indonesia, citing her being "stupid" and unable to meet her expectations. My mum and I decided to take over from Neighbor her helper to be a companion for my mum and assist her when I am at work.
I do not know how the relationship will be between Helper and my mum. I hope they get along.
Meabwhile it is Father's Day weekend and a long one as today is Hari Raya Haji.
Wishing all dads a happy celebration with family. I don't have a dad anymore but I remember fondly the times I took him out for meals to celebrate with him and mum.
Wishing all Muslims a happy holy and blessed Haji too.
Let's all love our folks dearly as life is finite.
Meanwhile Mr Nice will continue to idle for today haha.
