How Creative Are You?

I used to say that I wasn't a very "creative" person, because the only "art" I created could only impress a 2-5 year old. 😉

But then I asked my brain to treasure hunt for all the wonderful things that I DO create every single day.

And I discovered that I have created a LIFE I absolutely LOVE living! ❤

You can, too!

I didn't always, though.

Years ago there was so much about my life that caused me pain.

And guess what?

Some parts are still not perfect, but I love those parts, too!

Because I know without a doubt that those are the parts where God is not done working and twisting and fashioning it all for my GOOD!

They are the parts that have caused the most growth in me.

And they have been the catalyst for ME CREATING a life I LOVE!

I love my husband more than ever and create so much love and connection with him ❤️

I love my children and all the ways they are growing and transforming into the most amazing humans 🥰❤️

I love to create a daily rhythm of time spent in God's presence. He is my source of life ❤

I love that I create ministry to pastors and serve them by speaking at their churches and on stages to bring messages of faith and true peace to those they shepherd💗

I love that I create safe spaces for the hearts of my clients through mentoring and coaching 💕

I love that I create loving care and pour into a precious little boy a few days a week and get to marvel firsthand at the miracle he is! 💝

I love that I create value for those around the world online through over a decade of blogging, creating graphics, and encouraging content for my readers.

I love that I create belonging for my church family and am trusted to lead a team of incredible servant leaders 💞

I create slow intentional mornings for myself, even on the days I work outside the home.

I create quiet, reflective evenings where I take good care of my family and myself.

I create nutritious meals and a cozy, peaceful home that is a haven for all those who dwell here, even just for an evening.

I create belonging for MYSELF in every room I walk into where I can then contribute my gifts to those around me.

I create time and space in my day to attend to my physical and emotional health needs.

I create time in my day to rest, play, and be creative 🙂

I create for MYSELF a mind that is full of God's truth about me and a serene inner life of the spirit so I can enjoy as much LOVE, PEACE, and JOY as I want!

The next time YOU have the thought, "I am not creative" ask yourself, "Is it true?"
