And He reached down to me and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1 Sometimes I get trapped in the mindset of "Do you hear me Lord?" Generally it is because His answer doesn't come in my time frame. But when I wait on Him, I learn He does hear my cry. He works things out. Maybe not as I expect, but he takes care of everything. I can not think of a single time in my entire life that I have cried out to God that he has not heard me. I can't think of a time that I've waited on Him that He has not resolved the problem. Sometimes He changed the circumstances. Sometimes He changed others. Usually He changed me. I can say that I am grateful for a Heavenly Father that doesn't always give me what I want, but always with me what I need. Lord, thank You for always hearing me when I cry out to You. I appreciate Your ability to help me wait on You for what I need.
