Grief comes in stages, like an ocean undertow, all of a sudden it grabs you, and for a while it's touch and go. You break out in tears, while expecting none, or a strong emotion hits you, and you think of the only one.
For a while, you're attached, to the person that left, holding on to memories, for a very long stretch. After a while, the easier it becomes, emotions are not as strong, and you become more of a one.
Your identity becomes whole, as if it weren't for a while, things touch your soul, but you break with a smile. The hardness becomes soft, and the soft becomes smiles, and you realize how long, you've traveled all those miles.
I know that tears, are part of the tour, can't avoid those, they're needed for your cure. So with grace and dignity, you remember their presence, and give full respect, to their pure essence.
