They state that they "are very sorry that some customers did not receive their scheduled Child Benefit payments as expected and we understand the concern and difficulty this may have caused" The issues causing delay has now been fixed and HMRC indicate that they are putting measures in place to prevent this from happening again. Those affected will now receive their Child Benefit payments on Wednesday 5th June 2024.
