Dr. Rashneh N. Pardiwala is an ecologist from the University of Edinburgh having specialized in the field of Climate Change. She is the Founder and Director of the Centre for Environmental Research and Education (CERE), one of India's leading not-for-profit organizations that works to promote environmental sustainability through formal education, government collaborations, corporate partnerships and public awareness campaigns. In 2005, Rashneh was recognized as one of the youngest 'Social Entrepreneurs for Change' and was awarded the Ashoka Fellowship and in 2009 Dr. Pardiwala was selected as one of Asia's 21 Young Leaders by Asia Society. Rashneh has received numerous awards for championing environmental causes and is a Fellow of many prestigious organizations including a Ford Fellow at Columbia University, NY. Rashneh has also been featured in many journals and books in recognition of her efforts to promote environmental sustainability.
