Queen Anne's County has announced John Davis as the county's first Information Security Officer within the Information and Communications
Technology (ICT) Department.
In this new position, John will play a pivotal role in the county's digital defenses and fostering a proactive cybersecurity program. As Information Security Officer, John Davis will serve as a member of the leadership team within the ICT Department, reporting directly to the Director of Information and Communications Technology, Brian Riley. His responsibilities will include leading strategic security planning, developing and implementing security strategies and plans, overseeing the enforcement of security policies, and assessing security risks associated with county practices.
