On Thursday, April 18, 2024, about 12:30 p.m., the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) began investigating the death of a male victim, who was discovered with apparent wounds to the head at Faux À Chaud, Castries.
Consequently, this case was classified as a homicide.
During the early stages of the investigation, law enforcement officials were not able to identify the victim.
However, as the inquiry advanced, the RSLPF managed to officially identify the victim as sixty-one-year-old (61) Jamaican National, Michael Wayne Johnson-Streete.
The post-mortem examination of the victim's body determined that the cause of death was gunshot wounds to the head.
