Our jobs taught all of us to be perfect. Have the perfect grammar. Speak with the perfect logic. Know the right answers. And in all senses, run away from flaws.
& then AI came into the picture! The epitome of perfection.
Now, we are running written content through AI detectors and wondering if its AI-generated, or we have just run into someone who has mastered perfection.
In the middle of it all, what's suffering is ART.
Lately, I have come across so many articles accusing poets and writers of using AI to write their pieces. People nitpick the slightest instances of consistency in their writing and wonder if they are even consuming real value.
There may come a time when people stop consuming art altogether, because the biggest value of any art piece is its lack of reproducibility- & AI will devour it- but here's a twist!
We can stop this if we work to retain the humane features we have. Our imperfections, our flaws, our creativity- our ability to craft complex art.
Contributing my part, I have decided to start an email newsletter by the name 'Yet Unheard' where I will be talking about exercises that can help you re-awaken your creativity, the different forms of poems that exist, & also will be appreciating poems written by other people.
We will also have weekly guest-posting, where I will accept submissions from people and share the best one with all the subscribers.
If saving Art from becoming automated is something that is on your bucket-list, then this email newsletter is for you. Share your emails below & join me on my journey to give human art a voice again!
