Mark 6:34 – When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.
It always amazes me that when I walk into a crowd of people, I often look to see those individuals I might know. Obviously, it's an effort to create a comforting connection and avoid the anxiety of mingling with strangers.

Most recently, I have begun to start looking at crowds differently. Now as I walk into a new crowd of people, I ask the Lord to take me to someone that I can share my story about Christ in me.
I believe that is what the compassion of Christ is about. To look out over the world and ask God to take you to someone to share the Good News with. It's not always a matter of pulling out your Bible and going through the Roman Road to try and lead them to Christ. Often it is just simply telling someone your story of how Christ has made a difference in you.
Today, start by describing to yourself how Christ has made a difference in your life. It will make it much easier to share, once you declare it to the most interesting person in the crowd. You.
Stay healthy and have a blessed day!
