A gentleman, accompanied by his wife, who had previously lived on my delivery route but had since moved, pulled up. He inquired if I was still the mail carrier for their old neighborhood. After exchanging greetings, I felt a sense of trouble. "What do you need?" I asked. The gentleman looked at his wife and mentioned they were en route to the courthouse to file their signed divorce papers but decided to check if I was still delivering to their old neighborhood. Stepping out of my vehicle, I assured them, "God is able and willing to mend this. Are you both ready to follow God?" They both nodded. "Do you still love each other?" I asked, and they said yes. I said, "Let's pray," I prayed for God to rekindle their love for one another. Emotions overwhelmed them, and they began to weep. The gentleman, tearing up the papers, said, "I thought I was coming to town to see my father and deal with courthouse matters, but it seems I came to see you." They left, overflowing with praise and thankfulness to God. Testimony by Paul V. Lundmark | | | |
