His Love That Brings Answers
Hosea 2:21-23 NLT. [21] "In that day, I will answer," says the Lord. "I will answer the sky as it pleads for clouds. And the sky will answer the earth with rain. [22] Then the earth will answer the thirsty cries of the grain, the grapevines, and the olive trees. And they in turn will answer, 'Jezreel'—'God plants!' [23] At that time I will plant a crop of Israelites and raise them for myself. I will show love to those I called 'Not loved.' And to those I called 'Not my people,' I will say, 'Now you are my people.' And they will reply, 'You are our God!'"
As we enter a new month, I asked God for a sign. I was studying and focusing on the things that attack families I was studying Hosea and I noted that Gomer gave him three children. The first Jezreel meaning God Plants, the second a girl Lo-Ruhamah meaning Not Loved and the last another boy Lo-Ammi meaning Not My People. Truly a cord of three strands is not easily broken. This book speaks of judgment and salvation. The entire book has five major sections beginning with a sour note but concludes with a positive affirmation of God's commitment to His people. It led me to the passage of the day.
Let's explore this a bit. The day and time is in God's hands but it repeats in the New King James version the words I will hear. This word means I will answer or respond or speak says God. God is hearing the heavens to also answer the earth. The earth is the country or land. This answer comes with the words that the earth shall respond or answer or speak to the corn. This corn in the original language means to multiply and increase. Ah, the wine and oil will also increase. It is fresh and the anointing that as many as plant will see a sure harvest. There is a fresh anointing upon the land for increase of all sown.

So they shall hear (respond or answer or speak for its God who sows. Jezreel was a reminder of the killings by Omri in the valley and it was due to the apostasy of Israel but here God shows His forgiveness and the three children signify this redemptive plan of God, for God plants His Love for His People. It is as clear as day. The month of May is the month of answers and rain that brings a sure harvest.
What is it you desire or want in this month as you sow God causes that which is sown to multiply and answer you in this season. Like I said it's more about the redemption through salvation of a people. The attacks are real but God says He has shown the answer. The question now is will you respond to that which God has shown to sow and expect your own harvest in this season?
For that man or woman who has broken their vows God is giving you a huge opportunity to find His redemption. God is not looking at our apostasy but at His Love That Brings Answers. I welcome you to the month of God's sown answers. May is an answer to your deepest cry. Turn to God and He answers. Joel 2:19 informs us that, "And the LORD answered His people: "Behold, I will send you grain, new wine, and oil, and by them you will be satisfied. I will never again make you a reproach among the nations." Just believe and receive. Father as many as confess their failings show them your sown answer and response in the month of May in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen! Welcome to the month of May and God's sown answers! Shalom
