Sometimes going home is a good thing Anna has left the Amish community to teach high school. At summer break a friend contacts her to tell her that her mother is ill. She heads home to find it is true and decides to spend some time with her mother. Enter Gabe, hired farm hand and widower. Anna is torn between her new life in the Englischer world and her Amish roots and must decide for good (and Gabe is indeed part of the reason). So in the end apply Romans 8:28.
