This has been a year with crises and blessings, side by side. It has been a year of struggles and trials and tribulations, and great answers to prayers and miracles and the enduring presence of the Ruach Ha-Kodesh, (the Holy Spirit).
When my friend Becki was dying of cancer, I would walk into their home, and the presence of the Ruach Ha-Kodesh would be so heavy in that home, it was if a cloud had descended upon their house, and the cloud was the presence of the Holy One, and I was walking through that cloud. I had never experienced anything quite like that.
One of my favorite verses in scripture is: The Lord is near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 Certainly, I have found this to be true.
Most of us in this world are brokenhearted for one reason or another. God is near to us.
This Sunday we celebrate Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead. Scripture tells us that this act of Jesus dying for us reveals like no act before or since—God's love for us. God drawing near to us. God's acceptance of us. God's presence among us. Jesus rising from the dead reveals to us that He has power over death, and if so--then death will not have victory in our lives--- we will live eternally with Him.
I find that God gives me visible signs through the beauty in everyday ordinary things–that He is with me, that He loves me, that I do not walk through this world alone. I thought I would share some pictures with you all, in things I find beautiful, in hopes that you also will be encouraged.
Happy Easter!!
My husband as an 18 month old and his dad. 🙂
May We Be Encouraged!!
