1 Peter 2:21,23 NLT – [21] For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps. [23] He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly.
I don't think I've ever met anyone who did not want to be in control. Most would think the obvious alternate option would be "out of control". And no one wants to be subject to such potential abuse by others.

I can only think about an emotion of hopelessness. Definitely, a lack of self- confidence. But such is not the example of Christ for us as believers. Our confidence is in His control. Therefore, we don't gain confidence by our inner strength, but rather by the confidence of giving God control in the outcome of all that we confront.
In Isaiah 32:17 we read, "The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever".
Today, embrace your outcome that belongs to your Lord in every step. That is your peace.
Stay healthy and have a blessed day!
