| terryshen February 18 | A celebration turned calamity this Wednesday when the shots rang out during a parade for the Kansas City Chiefs who won the 58th Super Bowl championship this past Sunday. The tragedy resulted in 1 person dead, 22 wounded, and 2 teenagers charged. What a twist of fate. I did not watch the game nor the victory parade. I was home recovering from the Covid. Yup. the pandemic that refuses to go away. Just so happened two other events coincided on that same day: Ash Wednesday and Valentines Day. As it turned out, I took no part in either. Instead, I remained safe inside. Away from the crowd, the snow, and dodging another Nor'easter. Before concluding, I would be remiss if not paying tribute to Kelvin Kiptum - the world marathon record holder. Who was killed in a car accident on Sunday a week ago. Kiptum was 24 years old. Stay safe & have a nice week. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
