For we do not know how we ought to pray; the Spirit himself pleads with God for us in groans that words cannot express. And God, who sees into our hearts, knows what the thought of the Spirit is; because the Spirit pleads with God on behalf of his people and in accordance with his will. Romans 8:26-27 It is a weakness to not know what to pray, but we have Holy Spirit interceding for us in those moments. God looks at our heart and Holy Spirit guides us into the will of God. I have been in spots before where I felt so weighted down I didn't know what to pray. I wanted to pray. I knew I needed to pray but the words fell short. I didn't know what to say. I am thankful Holy Spirit was there to intercede in and through me in groanings that made no sense to me. He prayed out God's will through me. Holy Spirit is the perfect prayer partner.
