Acts 9:36-42 – In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which is translated Dorcas). She was always doing good works and acts of charity. About that time she became sick and died. After washing her, they placed her in a room upstairs. Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples heard that Peter was there and sent two men to him who urged him, "Don't delay in coming with us." Peter got up and went with them. When he arrived, they led him to the room upstairs. And all the widows approached him, weeping and showing him the robes and clothes that Dorcas had made while she was with them. Peter sent them all out of the room. He knelt down, prayed, and turning toward the body said, "Tabitha, get up." She opened her eyes, saw Peter, and sat up. He gave her his hand and helped her stand up. He called the saints and widows and presented her alive. This became known throughout Joppa, and many believed in the Lord. A short time before in the life of Peter he had been found in a position where he felt only shame. He had denied the Lord Jesus Christ three times. To be in such a valley where Peter had denied Christ and then to be brought to the place where he was able to allow the Spirit work through him to the point of bringing someone from death to life. What an amazing transition in the life of a believer.
Over the past year, many of you have found yourself brought to the bottom just as Peter. There have been difficult times, just short of the bottom. But praise God there is a tomorrow. There is a rising up, even when you may feel that there is no option for redemption.
No matter what, there has been a redemption. It is simply stepping oneself into the place where God wants you to be. There is the light.

Do not be ashamed. Do not be afraid. You have already been forgiven. Now is the time to step into the place where God wants you to be and see the great things He has in store for you.
Stay healthy and have a blessed week!
