If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?
Who am I to ban a word which has been there for years and used ? Who am I to talk about what is there of use or not required when I see millions who use ? There are many who are in use but seem meaningless to me as they are used inappropriately. If I say 'sorry' if I took the prompt the other way. You might feel what is there to apologise as it is my opinion or might get offended for not accepting the prompt. If I say ' thank you' it might just be a formality for you liking my post or I genuinely appreciate your support , who knows. If I say it is ' fine' if I got no likes for this . Maybe I could have written better. But you might say you ' loved' what I expressed but some might feel what is so ' great' about it. Words used by all of us seem to mean different and might just be a formality but not really meant or mean a lot but the other could not feel as much as you. So for me I would rather not ban any word as what I speak and words I use may be irrelevant to me but may mean a lot to someone else. So I would rather be ' ok' with everything used than ' hate' any word that means nothing at all and ban it. So I sit back with my cup of tea gazing through the dictionary to understand which word I need to ban.
