Galatians 2:20 NLT – [20] My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
I must admit, like many young boys, I was a daydreamer. I could imagine myself being every superhero I could watch on black and white TV. Of course, that's all we had back then, nonetheless, it was real to me.

I think everyone has at least some time in their life when they have daydreamed about being someone else. It doesn't necessarily have to be a superhero. It's possibly a great performer, singer, athlete, or billionaire. I don't believe there's anything wrong with such a thing as daydreaming about being someone else, as long as you don't allow it to make you think less of yourself. To become sad because you aren't someone else.
Today's scripture is one of my favorites. Because it actually turns into reality that which I would daydream as a child. In Christ, I can change who was alive into someone who is new. What a wonderful and miraculous thing to realize that once I give my heart to Christ, it is not I who live but Christ who lives in and through me! I am a new creature, and I have been transformed in all that I could ever hope to be.
It is still so sad that so many of us miss the real point that we don't have to daydream because of our self-disappointment. We can actually live the dream. The dream and reality of Christ transforming you into all that you want to ever be. To be like Him.
Stay healthy and have a blessed week!
