Isaiah 53:5 Dear Lord Jesus, Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for being the reason I have peace with God. Thank You for paying my price, for purchasing my debt at such a high price. Lord, thank You for loving me so much! I am so thankful that You chose to be "striped" in such a cruel and horrifying way to heal. Lord Jesus, what healing can possibly compare to the healing one finds when they put their trust in Your salvation? Nothing compares to what You endured to save us from sin and eternal separation from Yourself. Lord, I am in awe that You love to such a degree. My heart and mind cannot comprehend such amazing love nor such costly grace. You paid such a high price just to grant me an opportunity to be saved through faith in You. Lord, what little I have to endure here on Earth is nothing compared to what You have suffered for my sake. Please help me to look on trials and tribulations with joy and always remember whatever comes my way, it will never begin to compare to Your suffering. Yet, You counted all that You endured as joy, for it was in obedience to the Father and You knew it was for the blessing of those who would trust in You. Wow. I am so humbled and grateful.
