It's wonderful to be back with the Club Loser gang for another hair-raising adventure. They've experienced so much in the last year but it's only made them closer. Thankfully, they all have a sense of humour and can laugh at some of what they've been through at the hands of the evil geniuses, the Latchitts.
We join Angelo, Colette, Hallie, Gus and Naira as they're helping Mr C prepare for a Year 5 open evening at school. He's offering "Choccie Chat" for kids and their parents and has asked the gang to represent the students. Their resilience, determination and courage make them great ambassadors for the school. I couldn't help but laugh out loud when they were trying to come up with what they would share with potential students. Perhaps "Dread Wood High - fight or die" should be the new school motto.
As they head across to the older part of the school to join Mr C in the kitchen, they begin to feel uneasy. Everything reminds them of the Latchitts and the terrifying creatures they designed and experimented on while kids sat in lessons completely unaware. A strange trapdoor, dark tunnels and chilling sounds lead them into the spooky school basement. Who knows what's waiting for them there. Will they make it out in one piece?
