Want to mother from a place of PEACE and CALM every day?
I can't think of any other calling in this life that requires us to juggle the constant paradoxical flood of emotions other than being a mother.
From the very first moment that we hear of our child's mere existence, they are the first thing on our minds upon waking and the last thoughts of our hearts as we drift off to sleep each night.
It will never be any other way, no matter how old our children get, and although the level of hands-on responsibility will change as the years go by, our hearts will be ever tethered.
So, what are we to do when trying to maintain the balance between meeting the physical, mental, and emotional needs of our dearest loves and our own needs?
Because we love them so fiercely, and because it's our greatest desire that they grow up enveloped in our love and reach their greatest potential as adults, we put MORE pressure on ourselves than anyone else to mother them well.
And in turn, we are also our own HARSHEST CRITICS when we've had a rough day, lost our cool, and didn't show up as our best selves 😦
This is one area that I have had the privilege of helping so many mamas like you to overcome; to not only get FREE from mom guilt, perfectionism, and control-freaking but then be able to move out of FEAR and into LOVING your favorite job title ever ❤
Check out these powerful quotes from very satisfied clients and then tell me that YOU are ready to be next in line for a TRANSFORMED LIFE as a mama!
"I was the Wife and Mom who would react (act) in my circumstances instead of taking a minute to stop and think before I spoke or in most cases yelled, which hurt them. It also hurt me because the guilt would set in. But through these amazing weeks, I learned to think before I feel & feel before I act, and let me tell you how freeing it is."
"Just looking at things from a different perspective has given me a better outlook on how to handle situations. I feel that I'm better with my son and not so extreme with him. I've learned to stop, think, and then respond."
"Coaching has taught me to give myself permission to not be perfect, to release impossible expectations for myself and others, and how to accept and manage my emotions without letting them control me or ignoring them altogether."
"I now have the tools to bring myself back from those hard places, and those difficult emotions without having to stay there. They are just moments that no longer define who I am or who I will be."
One of the most powerful things I learned from my own coach in regard to mothering is that WE get to DECIDE we are a GOOD MAMA. When we farm out the emotional experience that is created from that thought to others, we will always fall short.
Mothers are above all else NURTURERS, and there will be times when we are GOOD nurturers and other times when we are BAD nurturers, but that never means we are BAD mothers; it means that we are HUMAN.
