Sleeping whole day is not survival. I know real survival and the former doesn't make sense to me.
Being polite and caring is a great thing but exaggerating everything is not.
One should ask real survivors what survival is and sleeping whole day would feel like a joke in front of that.
Army officers know survival really well and the word should be used with caution.
I understand that some people may take this kind of stuff as survival but it's far from the truth. Having a very low threshold for pain doesn't mean people are surviving, they are just that weak.
Strong people also feel pain but calling Sleeping too much as survival feels like an insult to what one has actually gone through and those real survival days were really hard to bear, to say the least.
Although, let me give my another view-point, people going through depression and yhus sleeping too much are actually survivors and they can't even explain why they are unable to get up from the bed, but it goes on for days . It's not a one or two days of over-sleeping. It goes on for like weeks usually.
