Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed;
Save me and I will be saved,
For You are my praise. Jeremiah 17:14
Jeremiah took God at his word. He was willing to praise God even before seeing the final results of the healing and salvation. This was a prophecy to the people of Israel.
We too need to follow this example. We can praise God in the midst of waiting. Often we want to wait until what we are believing for is manifest. That is not faith. Faith is believing what we cannot see, yet. When we are praising in the wait, it is an act of faith. It is letting God know that we are taking Him at His word. We are believing that regardless of what the circumstances look like and regardless of length of the wait we are trusting it will come to pass.
He wants to see us activate our faith in Him too. Like many of the saints of old, He wants us to stand oHis promise and remind Him to be faithful for His namesake. Not because we believe He won't, but because we want Him to be glorified.
Lord if your word says it, I can believe it. Help me to stand in bold faith regardless of what circumstances say.
